Where Sewing Leaves a Trace: Human Touch

Thinking about clothing beyond the final result means paying attention to everything that usually stays out of sight: the processes, the techniques and, above all, the hands that make each garment possible. This is the premise behind Human Touch, the brand founded in 2023 by Juliet Seger-Banks and Christina Albrecht. Based between Berlin and New York, the project aims to make visible something the fashion industry often leaves in the background: the human labor behind clothes.

Where Design Meets the Everyday: The Story of THE TOKYO TOILET

There is something deeply compelling about dedicating so much design attention to one of the most overlooked spaces in the city: the public restroom. A place we all use—or try to ignore—but rarely think about with any real care. This gesture, as simple as it is radical, is the starting point of THE TOKYO TOILET, a project that shows how even the most ordinary spaces can transform the way we inhabit a city.

Mona Hatoum: Over, Under and In Between

In Over, Under and In Between at Fondazione Prada in Milan, Mona Hatoum transforms nets, maps, and grids into installations that explore territory, control, and the fragile structures that shape how we understand space.

Reflections in Motion: Anish Kapoor at Lisson Gallery

Born in Mumbai in 1954, Anish Kapoor has spent decades redefining the possibilities of sculpture. After moving to London in the early 1970s, he studied at Hornsey College of Art and later at Chelsea School of Art, where he began developing a practice centered on material, perception and spatial illusion. Over the past four decades and more, Kapoor’s work has ranged from intimate pigment sculptures to monumental public commissions—most famously Cloud Gate in Chicago. Across these different scales, he keeps returning to the same question: how sculpture can reshape the way we experience space.

Between Furniture and Sculpture: The World of Animate Objects

The studio Animate Objects, founded by designer Zeynep Satık in Istanbul, develops a body of work that sits somewhere between furniture design and sculpture.
